Td/Tdap Vaccine in Bangalore

Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis are serious bacterial infections that can cause life-threatening complications if left untreated. Tetanus spreads through cuts or particularly in wounds contaminated with soil, dust, or manure, leading to painful muscle stiffness and spasms. Diphtheria spreads through respiratory droplets and can cause airway obstruction or heart complications such as myocarditis. Pertussis, or Whooping Cough, spreads easily from person to person, causing severe coughing fits and breathing difficulty, especially in infants. While antibiotics can treat the infection, vaccination remains the most effective preventive measure.Manipal Hospitals in Bangalore provide access to timely Td/Tdap vaccination through comprehensive preventive healthcare and antenatal care services for pregnant women and families.
